iPad2/iPhone4: Absinthe of RedSn0w

Ik wil morgen mijn iPhone 4 en iPad 2 eens even opnieuw restoren en jailbreaken.

Welke tool? Absinthe of RedSn0w?

Wat is het verschil? En in stabiliteit? Iemand ervaringen?

Redsn0w gebruikt dezelfde exploits als de originele Absinthe. Er is dus geen verschil in stabiliteit.

Absinthe gebruikt de iTunes backup/restore functies om de exploits te injecteren. In Redsn0w kan je kiezen tussen de Absinthe methode om de exploits te injecteren of de Limera1n methode (DFU mode).

Ik gebruikte altijd resn0w, maar heb nu met 5.0.2 Absinthe gebruikt.

Het werkte i.i.g. allebei even goed.
