van 3.1.3 naar 4.0
Even een kort vraagje, is vast al beantwoord maar kan het na twee uur zoeken en lezen niet vinden.
Heb net een nieuwe iPhone 3gs gekregen van tmobile repair.
firmware: 3.1.3
baseband: 05.12.01
weeknummer: 31
geen jailbreak
werk voornamelijk op pc, eventueel kan het morgen op een mac.
heb nu het iPhone custom restore 4.0 bestand gedownload.
Kan ik nu direct een shift-herstel doen of moet ik eerst mijn 3.1.3 jailbreaken?
Voor zover ik het nu begrijp is mijn baseband geen probleem.

1. Download Iphone 3GS original 3.1.2 ipsw file (search in google)
2. Go to Itunes and make shift+restore…and choose the 3.1.2 file
3. Itunes will now give after dowgrading the error message 1015
4. Your iphone will be now in the recovery mode loop
5. Use IRecovery mode (google it: use the tutorial from ihackintosh) -> I did not work for me on Windows 7 64bit (hier maak ik ook gebruik van...), but worked flawlessly on Windows XP 32bit
6. After you come out of the Recovery mode, boot your iphone again and Iphone will ask you to make an Activation (but don’t do anything)
7. Turn off your iphone, download redsn0w 0.94 and jailbreak your iphone with the previously downloaded 3.1.2 ipsw file.
8. After that your iphone 3gs should have 3.1.2 (jailbreaked) and baseband 05.12.01
9. Finished^^
