What if a little game tried to make you care about the oceans?

Save the Seas is a stimulating action arcade game, which goes way beyond just fun. It is an experiment which main goal is to suggest that games can be about something more than entertainment.

4 billion hours per week are spent by gamers competing online. But a great percentage of this competitive passion and time is wasted on just entertainment.

The main goal of Save The Seas is to change that. We believe that gamers can use all this passion and time to make some positive world change, and thus, we invite them to think of the real world while in an imaginary one.

Amsterdam based companies, No Fun Softworks and Antara Apps BV joined forces and created a new and dynamic company that gives gamers a purpose, awareness and a goal: to change the world for the good.

We started developing Save the Seas as an artistic expression of a real world problem (the oil leak in the Gulf of Mexico), designed to create awareness of environmental problems through gameplay.
