Iphone 4 waarschijnlijk overleden?

Mijn 3 maanden oude iPhone 4 32Gb heeft helaas de geest gegeven. Het volgende is aan de hand:

Gebeurde tijdens downloaden van (grote) apps
Toestel wordt erg warm
Scherm wordt groen/bruin
Groen en blauwe horizontale lijnen in scherm
Toestel valt uit
Oneindig opstarten
Komt niet uit recovery
Scherm wisselt soms van zwart naar wit
In iTunes gaf hij geen IMEI nummer. Mac adres ook onbekend

De volgende errors zijn voorbij gekomen in iTunes:

Error 1002, 1011, 1012, 1014: These errors may indicate a hardware issue with your device. Follow the steps in this article. Also attempt to restore while connected with a known-good 30-pin Dock Connector cable, computer, and network to isolate this issue to the device. Error 9: This error occurs when the device unexpectedly drops off the USB bus and communication stops. This can occur if the device is manually disconnected during the restore process. This issue can be resolved by performing USB isolation troubleshooting, using a different USB dock-connector cable, trying another USB port, restoring on another computer, or by eliminating conflicts from third-party security software.

Na >20 keer proberen te recoveren met error 9 is het 1 keer gelukt te restoren. Na enkele uren gebeurde hetzelfde. Een geslaagde restore is dus geen oplossing, het defect zal zich herhalen.

Ook contact met Apple gehad, na bijna een uur alles proberen was de conclusie van Apple dat het toestel vrijwel onherstelbaar was.

Straks wordt ie opgehaald door Proassist. Als ik zo de spookverhalen lees ben ik 'm voorlopig wel even kwijt vrees ik...

Je hebt ook geprobeerd te herstellen via DFU mode?

Ja alles geprobeerd, ook met Apple aan de lijn. DFU, verschillende pc's, verschillende iTunes en noem alles maar op.

Dan zal je toestel inderdaad wel kapot zijn. Hoop dat je snel een nieuwe hebt.

Dat hoop ik zeker ook. Lees genoeg verhalen van 8 weken... Wat is trouwens een refurbished toestel? Eentje die ook gerepareerd is of bijv. 1 die door een klant is teruggebracht binnen de wettelijke "zicht termijn" van 7 dagen?

Ik heb van Proassist te horen gekregen dat, gezien de klachten, het toestel naar een ander gecertificeerd bedrijf dan Solid Vision is gestuurd. Maar de naam daarvan mag ik niet weten.... Iemand dit eerder meegemaakt?
