Iphone 3G locked mobistar jailbreaken?
 

Hallo iedereen,

Ik vind dus echt geen informatie of ik dus nu werkelijk mijn Iphone3G die uit Belgie komt en dus gelocked is bij Mobistar kan jailbreaken.

Kan dit?
Ik heb dus een Iphone3G belgisch, en gelocked bij Mobistar ik kan hem dus enkele gebruiken bij Mobistar, en wil dit in de komende toekomst blijven doen. Dus hij moet niet geunlocked worden.

Maar kan ik hem jailbreaken zonder dat ik hem volledig verkloot?

Locked iPhone 3G - Preserve Baseband

This applies if you have a locked iPhone 3G and you wish to update to 2.2 but preserve the iPhone’s current baseband software. Preserving the baseband will give you the maximum chance for any upcoming software unlock. To upgrade your phone to 2.2 and preserve the state of the baseband you need to create a custom .ipsw with PwnageTool. This custom .ipsw will not contain the baseband update but of course will still allow all the cool new stuff from 2.2.
There are plenty of tutorials about this process on the web, but PwnageTool contains intuitive graphics and easy to follow prompts that should have you up and running in no time at all. Please note: PwnageTool is only available for Mac OS X.

Wat wil dit allemaal zeggen? Ik gebruik windows dus ik kan enkel Quickpwn gebruiken?
Maar is dit wel verstandig? Zal ik nog altijd op het Mobistar netwerk zitten en in de toekomst ook nog?

Welkom op het forum! Jouw iPhone is gewoon simlock vrij. Deze komt uit Belgie, dus is hij simlock vrij! (verpicht volgens de wet in Belgie) Dus je kan gewoon jailbreaken mt quickpwn OF een custom FW. Lees daarvoor de desbetreffende wiki eens door (of handleidingen) Het is heel simpel namelijk.

Alle iPhones uit België zijn naar mijn weten standaard unlocked. Je kan ook alle iPhones (locked of niet) gewoon jailbreaken.

If you have a 3G iPhone and want potential soft unlock in the near future do NOT use QuickPwn, and do not use the official ipsw or the iTunes update process without using PwnageTool.

Wat wil dit zeggen?

Dat dit niet bestemd is voor jou ;)

Even serieus: quickpwn veranderd iets wat pwnagetool niet veranderd, dus is het verstandig om die te gebuiken als je ooit nog een softunlock wilt doen. Maar omdat die van jou simlock vrij is heb jij daar niets mee te maken!

Goed dat het duidelijk is, gaat dit topic op slot! Dit was namelijk ook te vinden via de zoekfunctie. Alle iPhone's uit belgie zijn namelijk simlock vrij!
