op hackintosh zijn er ook al mensen aan het proberen.... Ben HEEL erg benieuwd :D

op iPhone Status Document staat namelijk gewoon no bij 1.1.3 en turboSIM

Baseband blijft hetzelfde :)

Kan nog gewoon bellen (is wel bootloader 3.9)

Ik vraag me toch af wat voor jailbreak het is....

Google maps werkt niet zeker ?

Als ik het goed begrepen heb, pakken ze 1.1.3 uit doen ze met ibrickr een gedeeltelijke upgrade. De baseband wordt niet geupgrade.

Zit je serieus al op 1.13?? En je kan je nog steeds bellen? :D

Huh? Die wordt toch 04.03.13_G in 1.1.3? Hoezo hetzelfde?

Kan nog steeds bellen, google maps werkt, mijn icoontjes wiemelen en mijn baseband is 04.02.13_G....

The team has developed a soft jailbreak based on upgrading your 1.1.1 or 1.1.2 iPhone or iPod touch to 1.1.3 software. You perform this upgrade by decrypting a disk image inside the Apple-supplied ipsw archive. This archive lives in your home library and can be downloaded on-demand from Apple. The team will supply the decryption key along with instructions on how to perform the soft upgrade--there may be a tool as well that automates this process similar to the jailbreak.jar from the 1.1.2 jailbreak. Those who have avoided upgrading in order to preserve their iPhone unlocks will be able to use most of the 1.1.3 software but will not have access to the new Google Location feature.

Baseband and Google Location: You won't have to upgrade your baseband--but Google Location won't work unless you do. So that's a tradeoff. If you don't plan to unlock the iPhone, you're better off upgrading your baseband. Don't forget: Downgrades are limited to boot loader 3.9. With 4.6, you can downgrade the firmware but not the baseband. (Thanks Nervegas.) Nicholas A. asks "Can AT&T customers update to the new baseband and still have a jailbreak?" Yes. Gefeliciteerd! Nu snap ik het, je behoudt gewoon de baseband van 1.1.2 met een BL 3.9 iPhone. Ik ga het ook doen!

aah ok.. maar het was dus met bootloader 3.9 alleen een kwestie van jailbreaken?
Je maakt dus geen gebruik van een turbosim ofzo?

Fresh zou je kunnen uitleggen welke stappen je volgt als het bij jou is gelukt ben toch wel heel erg benieuwd!!!

Well, the iPhone Dev Team and Iphone Elite Team has done it again, now together. A working jailbreak for 1.1.3 is finally here.

This jailbreak, like the 1.1.2 jailbreak, comes as an upgrade. This means you need to have a 1.1.1 or 1.1.2 jailbroken phone already, before you can begin.

Right now there's only a Windows iBrickr-based version of the image creator .
Here's how you do it:
- Start with a 1.1.1 or 1.1.2 jailbroken phone with Installer.app installed.
- Plug in your phone via USB to your computer.
- Download, extract, and run iBrickr Special 1.1.3 jailbreak edition ( http://devices.natetrue.com/iphone/ibrickr-jb113.zip )(ibrickr.exe in the archive).
- iBrickr will determine what firmware you are running on your phone and make sure you can run the update.
- iBrickr will then guide you through the process of obtaining and modifying the 1.1.3 firmware (make sure to read everything thoroughly).
- iBrickr will upload the new firmware image to your phone. Note that this only puts the file on your phone and does not modify it at all, yet.
- When iBrickr finishes (should take about 10 minutes), it will tell you to go to Installer and install the "1.1.3 soft upgrade" package. Do that.
- When the installer finishes (this should take another 10-15 minutes), your phone should reboot with a fresh activated 1.1.3 firmware.

And props to planetbeing, who was the first person with a 1.1.3 jailbroken iphone, and Zibri, by whom this method was largely developed. Additionally to Shaun Erickson, who packaged the Installer half of the upgrade, and runs most of the application packaging for the iPhone. He's looking for a job too - hire him!


Now you may be wondering how this jailbreak works. Here's a breakdown:

- iBrickr grabs the 1.1.3 iPhone firmware image and extracts, decrypts, and decompresses the disk image.
- Then it applies a patch, jailbreaking the disk image and activating it, and also installing Installer.app.
- It uploads this new modified image to the phone, as 113_upgrade_image.bin.
- The "1.1.3 soft upgrade" app flashes the phone with the image and reboots.
- You have a perfect, jailbroken, upgraded 1.1.3 phone, with all your settings and music intact!
