Ik maak nu ook een backup. :)
Ziet er goed uit. Alles gaat via SSH

Er wordt een backup gemaakt van de applications, en alle mobile en root data.

The purpose of this is to backup your ipod's Applications and application data. So if you need to restore then you will have all your apps backed up and wont have to spend hours re-downloading all your applications and such.

THIS ONLY WORKS WITH AN IPOD TOUCH OR IPHONE IN FIRMWARE 1.1.3 OR 1.1.4, DO NOT TRY THIS WITH AN EARLIER FIRMWARE! This also works if you backup your applications on 1.1.3 then restore or update to 1.1.4 and put back your applications and also works if you go from 1.1.4 to 1.1.3.

BACKING UP YOUR IPOD/IPHONE STEPS:

1. Have a jailbroken ipod touch/iphone in firmware 1.1.3 or 1.1.4.
2. Go into installer.app and make SURE that you have BSD Subsystem and Open SSH Installed.
3. If you have SummerBoard (SMBPrefs) then you MUST uninstall it before backing up your ipod/iphone! (BEFORE you uninstall please set the wallpaper back to Default) Do not worry your themes will be saved and you can always install it again after backing up your ipod. (Also if you have custmize installed then set everything that you customized back to the default ipod screen)
4. Have your ipod turned on and make sure that auto lock settings are set to never.
5. Please plug your ipod into your computer or another power source because this eats a lot of the ipods/iphones battery and can take a long time.
6. Make sure your ipod is connected to Wi-Fi and is on the same network as your computer, or else ssh will not work.
6.5. Before you continue, please go to the Misc Utilities tab then enter your IP address and SSH password at the top. Then hit "Run SSH fingerprint" and wait (It may just open and close fast or it may take a couple minutes) and if you get a paragragh that at the end asks if you want to change cached key (or something similiar to that) hit y and then hit enter. Then continue to step 7.
7. After you read ALL these instructions then check to agree and then fill out your ip address and ssh password.
8. This process may take a long time, so please be patient, at anytime do NOT turn your ipod off and do NOT close the application on your computer.
9. Congratulations when it finishes then you have successfully backed up your ipod! Now you can restore your ipod/iphone or be prepared just in case something happens to it!
