MacHeist geeft cadeautjes weg, oneindig ook nog eens!

Eerder deze week was er de mogelijkheid om je in te schrijven voor de MacHeist kerstboom waarbij je verschillende applicaties kon ontvangen als je vrienden uitnodigde voor het festijn.

Een goede marketing campagne voor de ontwikkelaars is het zeker. Verschillende van de applicaties waaronder 1Passport zijn immers al applicaties die al verschillende keren zijn weggegeven of ze zijn al lang gekocht door de gebruikers. Gelukkig neemt dit alles de pret niet weg, helemaal niet aangezien MacHeist en de ontwikkelaars in de kerstsfeer zijn vergeten om meerdere licentie aanvragen te blokkeren. Niet dat wij dit als gebruikers erg vinden? Nee, ik doe gewoon iedereen die ik maar ken met een Mac even 1Passport cadeau. En iedereen die een iPhone heeft doe ik ook nog eens Ringtone Studio for iPhone cadeau.

Dat 1password is best wel een leuke tool, zeker ook omdat je tegenwoordig een iPhone versie hebt die je met de desktop versie kunt synchroniseren. Op die manier heb je diverse passwords nu ook op je iPhone wat dan weer handig is voor het inloggen op bepaalde sites (overigens werkt dit alleen wanneer je binnen dat 1password de sites bezoekt, anders blijft het een tool om je passwords op te snorren). Overigens is dit wel een gratis versie van 1password die volledig functioneel is waarbij je alleen niet de mogelijkheid hebt om gratis te upgraden.
