Meerdere agenda's syncen
 

Hoi allen,

Ik heb op de zaak een agenda via Exchange. Thuis heb ik een privé agenda in mijn outlook. Deze laatste sync ik nu via iTunes. Nu wilde ik ook mijn zakelijke agenda syncen maar dan krijg ik de melding dat mijn huidige agenda gewist wordt.

Is het mogelijk om twee agenda's op deze manier te mergen? En hoe dan?

Misschien via google calendar en dan syncen via nemussync (cydia gratis).

mmm ... Cydia? Moet er dan gejailbreaked worden? Daar heb ik dan weer geen zin in. En de discussie daarover moeten we misschien hier niet voeren.

Kan het niet gewoon standaard. Lijkt mij wel handig.

Dit kan wel via MobileMe, hier heb je geen jailbreak voor nodig en is de eerste twee maanden gratis, daarna moet je wel betalen...

Inderdaad, ik werk met MobileMe en ben er 'redelijk' tevreden over.

Op het werk veranderd mijn agenda dagelijks, als ik deze in mijn iPhone aanpas dan weet ik, wanneer ik thuis kom, dat deze up-to-date is.

Mijn vrouw heeft dan ook weer toegang tot mijn werk-agenda en kan aan de hand van daarvan dan weer privé afspraken vastleggen ... mijn agenda is steeds up-to-date.

MobileMe is niet goedkoop maar er zitten nog zoveel extra mogelijkheden in (bovenop de agenda) dat ik er meer en meer plezier aan heb. Bv. reisfoto's online zetten met iPhote is ene fluitje van een cent ... enz ...

Dus: MobileMe = aanrader in uw geval

Is er ook een mogelijkheid bij MobileMe dat je een 'gezamelijke' agenda hebt?
Zodat ' gezamelijke huishoudelijke' afspraken bij beiden in gescheiden iPhone's getoond worden?

Zeg maar een shared agenda?

Of een manier dat ik kan zien of mijn een afspraak heeft staan (hoef inhoudelijk niet te zien wat voor afspraak, alleen maar dat ze een afspraak op een bepaalde datum/tijd heeft?) Zeg maar hetzelfde als in Outlook bij de scheduling view van een appointment?

Iemand die nog andere ideeen heeft voor dit?
En daarbij geen jailbreak o.i.d. nodig heeft (en ook discussie hierover :-) )

Je stelt niet de goede vraag, je wilt niet twee agenda's syncen. Dat kan de iphone namelijk wel, jij wilt syncen vanaf twee verschillende computers. Daar heeft de iphone moeite mee. Hoewel de iphone hier niet voor gebouwd is zou ik het zo doen: Exporteer je werk agenda naar een PST bestand. Ga thuis in outlook een subagenda maken. Importeer in deze subagenda (handig als je die "werk agenda" noemt) het pst bestand. Als je daarna synct in itunes zie je twee agenda's.

Ik doe het ook zo, ik heb drie agenda's. werk, prive en de agenda van mijn vrouw.

Hierop inhakend: ik wil dus inderdaad via mobile me zorgen dat de agenda én thuis én op het werk up to date blijven. Gewoon overal hetzelfde bevatten. Kan dat? Ik heb nu al een trial van mobile me en de inhoud van de agenda van mijn werk op de iphone. Maar ik ben bang dat als ik actie uitvoer thuis ik dan straks alleen nog maar lege agenda's over heb omdat daar nog niks in staat...

Maak dan een kopie van je agenda's (dat kan alleen op een computer) en ga dan proberen.

ja, heb ik nu gedaan, maar het ging gelukkig goed. blijkbaar 'zag' het systeem dat de agenda op mijn privepc nog helemaal leeg was en dus alleen maar gevuld kon worden.

Wat wel mis gaat tot nu toe (ik weet dat het een andere topic hoort te zijn: ik neem de gok :-)) is dat ik iedere keer dubbele contactpersonen krijg in mijn iphone die ik synchroniseer met mijn werk- en prive pc met mobile me. Alles al leeg gemaakt na een backup te maken (pst bestand in outlook 2007). Daarna weer bestand geplaatst in werk pc. Overal synchroniseren aangezet. Werkpc goed, prive pc goed, iphone: dubbele contactpersonen. Al 4 keer geprobeerd. Suggesties?

Als je na een sync dubbele hebt, in Outlook de dubbele verwijderen en dan syncen met itunes.

Het punt is dat ik niet kan syncen met itunes omdat ik mobile me gebruik. Dan is die optie uitgeschakeld.
Vraag me niet hoe maar uiteindelijk is het gelukt.
Alles weer leeg gemaakt etc zoals ik eerder beschreef. Strange...:)

je kunt ook de agenda's online via google laten syncen.
moet je wel een klein programma installeren op iedere pc en vervolgens worden ze bijvoorbeeld iedere 120 minuten gesynct, vervolgens sync je je Iphone weer via nuevasync.

dat laatste heb ik nog niet geprobeert maar dat agenda syncen via google/outlook werkt erg prima.

Heb wel een oplossing gevonden voor mensen die met meerdere computer een iphone willen syncen, de oplossing is; maak het id nummer van de itunes library hetzelfde. Hieronder staat hoe:

Note: This tutorial allows you to add music/videos/podcasts from multiple machines. If you just want to sync PIM (Contacts/Calenders etc) on one machine and media on another there’s a simpler way. On the computer you want to sync contacts/calendar with select only these items and perform a sync. Now, on the second machine enable Music/Photos/Etc and perform a second sync. You will be warned the media library will be deleted, but as there’s no media this is fine :)

Because I do most of my music listening at work and my Calendar/Address book are kept in Outlook I have my iPhone setup to sync with my office PC. When I’m at home however I find I also want to put music/podcasts/videos on my iPhone for the weekend or trips.

Normally it’s only possible to sync media on an iPhone with one computer. If you try to use a second computer you get the warning below that "the iPhone XXX is synced with another iTunes library. Do you want to erase this iPhone and sync with this iTunes library"?
However, I’ve found an easy fix for this. In the instructions below I’ll show how to modify any iTunes Library so it can also be synced with your iPhone. You can then either manually manage your iPhone on a second computer, or sync different data on different machines (E.g. Music at home, Contacts/Calendar at work).

The instructions below use the example of modifying the iTunes library on my home Mac to work with my existing iPhone/PC setup. If your existing library is on a Mac, or both machines are of the same type, then the steps are identical.

* On the PC you can find your iTunes folder in your "My Music" (XP) or "Music" (Vista) directory. On the Mac it is in your Music directory.

you only need to edit files on the second machine.

* After completing these steps you will be able to sync your iPhone with both computers, either by normal syncing or choosing one machine to manually manage your music and videos. Unless you also keep your music libraries in sync, I recommend you do not attempt to normal sync the same types of data on both machines.

Backup Your Library

On the machine you want to sync with, backup "iTunes Music Library.xml" and "iTunes Music Library" (Tunes Music Library.itl on PC) to a safe location. These are the files you will be modifying.
1) Find your iTunes Library ID

On the machine your iPhone currently syncs with, open "iTunes Music Library.xml" with a text editor and find the entry between the <string></string> tags, after "Library Persistent ID". In the example below this is 8B6C633F7DACB74B. Copy this entry exactly to a piece of paper, email, temporary file etc. You can then close this file.

2) Change your Library ID

iTunes stores your library information in two places. An XML file and a binary file. You now need to change the ID in both so they match your other library.

Make sure iTunes is not running.

On the machine you want to sync with open "iTunes Music Library.xml" in a text editor. Again, find the entry between the <string></string> tags after "Library Persistent ID" and copy this entry exactly. This time you can use the clipboard if you wish.

When you have a copy, replace this entry with the one you copied in part 1. Make sure you do not change anything else, and the length of the entry is 16 characters/digits. Save this file and close it.

Start iTunes on the machine you wish to sync with and plug in your iPhone. When you select "Manually manage music and videos" you will no longer be prompted to erase your data, nor will the files on your iPhone be grayed out.
