Unlocked iPhone

Hi, and happy new year!
I was thinking about getting an unlocked iPhone 3GS and was wondering what would be the best unlimited data plan?

I didnt want to go the T-Mobile route because I dont really want to shell out 30 euros every month. But is there a viable cheaper alternative?

besides bying a loose iPhone and provider ....no T-Mobile is still the cheapest way to go

Hey thanks Budz, thats gotta be the fastest reply to any question Ive ever posted on a forum!

Thats what I mean though. if I buy a phone it will be unlocked (maybe in Belgium) And then the idea was to do a simcard only deal.

Hence me asking are there any unlimited data sim only deals better than the big T?

not that i know of , im a T-Fanboy so , just go to a regular phoneshop and let them inform you , a loose iPhone goes about 650-700 euros . check forum for this

Would that be feasible on an iPhone?
And then I could use Skype or whatever for any outgoing calls.
Would people still be able to call me, or only via Skype etc?

Sorry if these are dumb questions but im a total newbie.
I actually got an Ipod Touch in the states cos the price was good and of course no subscription. But I'm mainly interested in the apps and you need a camera and gps for those!

web and walk plus is just for watching tv , normal web and walk , witch i use is good enough and is good to work with .

with fair use policy , yes , tethering ( using phone as modem ) is illigal

by tethering do you mean hooking it up to a pc that doesnt have an internet subscription and then using the mobile to connect to the net?

I'm still trying to work out whether this will even work.
For calling out no problem but for people calling me I think it might not be possible. I guess it would have to be permanently hooked up to the net.

yes , with fair use policy and i think also you need to be conected 24/7 then
