iPhone 4: iPhone 4 Vodafone UK Unlock - Wie kan helpen?

Hallo,
Ik heb sinds 4 Juli een iPhone 4 gekocht van iemand die zijn contract verlengde bij Vodafone UK. Ik heb nooit een bon of wat dan ook van die man gehad, en ik kan ook geen contact meer krijgen met deze man...

Het probleem is dat ik dus een iPhone heb met simlock. En ik zit op iOS 4.1, dus kan hem niet simlock vrij maken...

Ik heb een uitwisseling van emails met Vodafone UK gehad, maar tot op heden willen ze mijn iPhone niet simlock vrij maken...

For devices purchased at full price (box only or PAYT) we will unlock on request. However we will not unlock any device that is provided free or at a subsidised cost, until the initial contract has expired.
If you have purchased the iPhone on our PAYT (Pay As You Talk) on our Vodafone service or as a box only device, we will be able to unlock the iPhone. You need to send us the proof of payment of the handset as an attachment via email in jpg.format.

Maar om nu nog, nadat ik 750 euro voor de iPhone het betaald, nog eens 135 euro neer te tellen. Vind ik een beetje te overdreven. En iedereen weet dat 135 euro een smak geld is.

Ze praten ook over een universal activerings card. kun je kopen in china voor 2.10 euro. Maar dan moet je zelf knippen. Heb hier niet echt vertrouwen in, maar het kan maar zo dat het lukt. als je maar in je telefoon kan komen. Dan kun je verder.

Zou ik niet tegen T-Mobile kunnen zeggen dat deze iPhone van hun is?
Dan zou hij zo simlock vrij moeten zijn...

Vodafone UK kan die iPhone IMEI code niet eens van mij vinden! :S
Dus moet ik ze een bon geven, als bewijs dat die iPhone toch van hun is.

Zat zelf ook in jou situatie met een iPhone 4 van T-Mobile UK, heb het photoshoppen gedeelte ook geprobeerd, maar dat werkt niet aangezien elke provider alleen een database heeft met de imei nummers van hun eigen toestellen. Uiteindelijk mijn toestel laten unlock voor iets van 85 eu bij mobilephoneunlockers, was in 2 dagen gebeurt, ik raad je het laatste aan.

Maar hoe kom ik dan aan een echte bon (ingescand) exclusief gegevens...?

als ik de iphone maar simlock vrij kan maken, dan kan ik mijn eigen provider gebruiken.

jha tot nu toe is voor jou dan als enigste optie 135 euro bijdelocker, maarja of je zekerheid heb. En als je een nieuwe versie op je tel zet, dan kan het ook nog is zozijn dat je de tel dan weer opnieuw simlock vrij moet maken ( wat ik her en der lees)
Maar ik blijf nog ff rond kijken.

Dit zijn grote oplichters! Ze verkopen je een unlock voor 15 euro, terwijl je die in Cydia gratis kunt downloaden, daarom ondersteunen ze alleen een iPhone 4 op iOS 4.01 en niet hoger. De eerste site is beter dan die van jou. Serieus nooit betalen voor zoiets, alleen als alles officieel is...

Even een aantal zaken de wereld uit helpen. T-Mobile NL kan alleen T-Mobile NL iPhones unlocken. Aan de hand van het IMEI nummer staat vast welke providerlock erop zit en door welke provider deze eraf gehaald kan worden.

T-mobile NL is een andere simlock dan T-mobile Duitsland. Hetzelfde geldt voor Vodafone. Dat betekend dat een Vodafone iPhone uit het buitenland, niet werkt met een Vodafone simkaart uit bv Nederland.

Home | DeLocker is betrouwbaar en biedt wel goedkopere Vodafone unlocks. Maar 110 euro blijft natuurlijk een hoop geld. Je kunt daar trouwens ook laten controleren welke provider simlock je hebt.

'Top up' Vodafone UK. Ze accepteren geen PayPal of bankrekening... Heb ook altijd weer eens pech. Kan iemand 20 pond storten? Ik stort het bedrag dan via de bank naar je terug.
